Cecilia Martini Bonadeo awarded for her translation

On October 21, the awards have been given to the winners of the 6th edition of the "Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz International Award for Translation".

The presentation took place at the Palacio dos Bandeirantes, São Paulo, Brazil.

The ceremony has been attended by the Prince Abdulaziz bin Abdullah, third son of the King of Saudi Arabia, Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz Al-Saud, and vice Minister of Foreign Affairs of that country, and by the Governor of the State of São Paulo, Geraldo Alckmin.

A member of "Greek into Arabic", Dr. Cecilia Martini Bonadeo has been awarded for her book al-Farabi, L’armonia delle opinioni dei due sapienti, il divino Platone e Aristotele. Prefazione di Gerhard Endress, Plus, Pisa University Press, Pisa 2008.

Dr. Martini Bonadeo said: ''II feel deeply indebted to my colleagues in the team, but also to my students and post docs who worked with me during the past years, as research is a highly collaborative enterprise".
