Workshop in Pisa, November 3-6, 2014

International Workshop “Plotinus East and West. The Enneads in Arabic and Latin” to be be held in Pisa, November 3-6, 2014.

Within the context of the activities around the transmission of texts and concepts from Greek into Arabic, the three teams UNIPI, RUB, ILC-CNR are pleased to announce the final event of the ERC ADG "Greek into Arabic".

The Arabic Plotinus will be explored in depth, and the Latin Plotinus will add his voice. Lexicography in the field of the Graeco-Arabic studies will examine the state of the art and discuss future developments. A panel on Computational Linguistics will be held, revolving about the issue of connecting the heritage of the past and the new challenges.
